Fund 1 Investments, LLC Reaches Agreement with BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. for Board Representation

Yahoo! Finance, Investing.com, TipRanks and StreetInsider.com reported on Olshan client Fund 1 Investments, LLC’s cooperation agreement with BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: BJRI) pursuant to which C. Bradford (Brad) Richmond was appointed to the board of directors of BJ’s. As part of the agreement, the board will also form a Shareholder Value Initiatives Committee to make recommendations to the full board regarding its continued efforts to maximize value for shareholders. Shareholder Activism partner Kenneth Mantel led the Olshan team that represented Fund 1 Investments, LLC, which included Chair Emeritus of the firm’s Shareholder Activism Practice Steve Wolosky, counsel Dorothy Sluszka and associate Nikoleta Holevas.
