Olshan Expands Corporate/Securities Law Group with the Addition of Capital Markets Partner Ari Edelman

NEW YORK, March 11, 2024 – Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP is pleased to welcome Ari Edelman as a Partner in the firm’s Corporate/Securities Law Group. Edelman’s career has entailed extensive experience in domestic and global capital markets matters, securities regulation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.

Edelman joins Olshan from McDermott Will & Emery LLP, where he was a partner in the Transactions Practice Group. Throughout his distinguished career, Edelman has closed over 100 capital market transactions, encompassing initial public offerings, pre-IPO equity financings, private equity deals, M&A transactions, and issues of secured debt. In his legal practice, he has represented underwriters, issuers, and placement agents. Edelman has supported various companies in fields ranging from healthcare to energy, among many others, on issues of corporate governance, disclosure compliance, and meeting reporting requirements.

Edelman was recognized as a “Recommended Lawyer” in The Legal 500 United States guide in Finance - Capital Markets: Equity Offerings - advice to issuers in 2023. He earned his B.A. from Yeshiva University and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he served as a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
