Katherine Mateo

Outside of the courtroom, Katherine Mateo's main hobby is a love of sports cars. Despite not getting a driver’s license until the age of 28(!), Kat has always been awestruck by the beauty of their aerodynamic silhouettes and significant power hidden beneath the hood. Shortly after passing her road test, she had already picked out one of her favorites for a first car, a C7 Corvette Stingray, that is still her daily driver. Since then, she has done a lot of work to make the car unique and is one of the few women in the member’s-only Classic Car Club of Manhattan, with which she does weekend rallies in the tri-state area and other car-related events.
