Olshan Clients Active in “Billionaires Row” Transactions Covered by Times

Today’s Times covered the latest developments along the 57^th Street corridor nicknamed Billionaire’s Row by the paper. Sam Ross and Hyman Kindler represented the Korein family, owners of 240 Central Park South, in negotiating the sale of air rights and various easements relating to the settlement between Extell Development and Vornado Realty Trust (VNO). VNO’s proposed development is to be located on Central Park South and East 58^th Street, adjacent to 240 Central Park South. In addition, in 2006, Kindler represented an unrelated seller of air rights on East 58^th Street, which air rights are now part of VNO’s proposed development. And in 2005, Ross and Thomas Kearns lead the Olshan team which sold 220 Central Park South for the Korein family to VNO. More recently, Ross negotiated the development ground lease for the new Viceroy Hotel at 120 West 57th Street.
