Olshan Represents GAMCO Investors in Modified Dutch Auction Tender Offer

Olshan’s client GAMCO Investors, Inc. has commenced a modified “Dutch Auction” tender offer to purchase for cash up to 800,000 shares of its Class A common stock at a price per share of not less than $46.00 nor greater than $50.00, which offer may be worth up to $40 million, assuming the offer is fully subscribed and the shares are purchased at the maximum price per share of $50.00.  The number of shares proposed to be purchased represents approximately 12% of the outstanding Class A common stock of GAMCO Investors.
