Anti-Counterfeiting Seminar At Olshan

Olshan partner Martin J. Martin J. Feinberg practices in the Intellectual Property Group at Olshan Grundman Frome Rosenzweig & Wolosky LLP, and heads up the firm's Anti-Counterfeiting Department. His areas of expertise include intellectual property litigation, anti-counterfeiting enforcement and litigation, criminal litigation, corporate investigations and security, and general business litigation. Mr. Feinberg has counseled and assisted a wide variety of companies in the apparel, athletic wear and equipment, cosmetics, fragrance, imaging supplies, jewelry, safety and security products and the luxury goods industries in protecting their intellectual property rights including the commencement of trademark infringement, trademark counterfeiting and copyright litigations, the development and implementation of both international and domestic anti-counterfeiting programs, the investigation of infringing/counterfeiting activities, manufacturing compliance and product security issues.

Mr. Feinberg frequently lectures on, and assists law enforcement agencies with, the development and/or prosecution of criminal intellectual property matters. Mr. Feinberg has authored a chapter entitled "Criminal Enforcement of State Anti-Counterfeiting Laws" contained in the International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition's ("IACC") "Trademark Counterfeiting in the United States" treatise. This chapter is also used by the IACC Foundation to train law enforcement throughout the United States. Mr. Feinberg, working in conjunction with both the IACC and International Trademark Association, was instrumental in the development of a model criminal anti-counterfeiting statute which has now been adopted by several states and currently is the Co-chairman of the IACC Legislative Committee.
