Invitation: Upcoming Conference on E-mail Law and Self-Regulation

In addition to my work as an attorney, I am an assistant professor of law and technology and Touro Law Center in Central Islip, NY and the director of the Touro Institute for Business, Law and Technology. In that capacity, I would like to invite everyone to Touro's upcoming conference on April 30, 2007 entitled "When Spam Isn't Spam: An Unfiltered Look at Self-Regulation and the Law Behind E-mail." The conference will examine both the legal and procedural issues involved in e-mail sending and delivery, including marketing, block lists, and the role of law in fighting spam. Our featured keynote is David J. Farber, Distinguished Career Professor of Computer Science and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University, a world-renowned expert on the Internet and policy considerations. If you would like more information or are interested in presenting at the conference, please e-mail me to let me know. Thanks, and I'll see you in April.
